Kaimaki
Kaimaki is probably one of the most historic flavours in the ice cream category. It is believed to originate from Kahramanmaras, an area in the south-east of Turkey.
This is the “rubber ice cream” that is made from mastic from Chios and salepi and is cut with a knife. In Greece, Kaimaki was first released in the 1960s. At Kayak, this historic flavour is glorified and celebrated through the authentic Constantinople and extremely delicious recipe!
